Day Negative Something #2 (possibly negative two):
Diet soda, my relationship with you has gotten complicated. At first you were unbelievable. You’ll provide me with all of the sweetness I need—with none of the downsides? I’m so in love with you. But over time I’ve become too dependent on you, which is never healthy in a relationship. I can’t get through the day without checking in on you. You’ve been more than understanding, always giving me more when I’ve demanded it. But now I’m starting to question you, I’ve definitely lost some trust. I’m suspicious about your long term prospects. It’s time to move on. On some level, I’ll always love you. And I’ll certainly never forget you.
